Please note that the next NTU Ice Skating Session will be on 18 Oct 2008, Saturday, 4pm to 6pm. This will be the last skating session this semester. We really hope you can come down to this session because we are arranging seniors to be present. They can further coach us about our skating techniques.

However the venue will be at Kallang Ice Palace instead.

We are moving our sessions to Kallang Ice Palace in future. This is because Fuji Ice Palace is closing down for renovation from 16th October 2008 onwards, and the only remaining ice skating rink in Singapore is in Kallang.

We do understand that this may pose problems for some of our members as they may live in the west area. Therefore, our committee has planned to hold the session on Saturday. We sincerely apologise for any inconveniences caused but we also hope you can understand our situation.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1) Will the pricing change?
Ans: Yes, unfortunately it will. The new price would be $16.50 for 2 hours. Our business managers are still working activiely to negotiate with Kallang Ice Palace regarding the price, so we will keep you informed of changes.

2) Where is Kallang Ice Palace and how do we go there?
Ans: The rink is siutated at Kallang Leisure Park. The nearest MRT Station would be Kallang MRT Station. Drop off at Kallang MRT and take bus 11.

3) When will the sessions be next year?
Ans: Right now we are still in the midst of discussing future sessions. However they are likely to be on either Friday nights or the weekends. This is because members may find it hard to travel down to Kallang on the other schooldays, especially if they live in halls. Similarly, we will inform all the members once we have settled on a decision.

SISA is organizing a skating night, co-organished by Ngee Ann Polytechnic Ice Skating Club. NTU Ice Skating club members are invited to take part in this event.

There will be a coach, Zhang Lei, to demostrate speed skating for us. Games, music, snacks & drinks are provided as well.

Date - 25th March 2008

Time - 8pm to 11 pm

Price - $4 , inclusive of SISA membership.

Tickets will still be selling at the bus terminal outside chinese heritage centre before boarding the shuttle buses... so if you still have not purchased your tics, you can do so before going for the event!

Tickets will also be selling at the booth during the event itself!

Shuttle Bus details: Please gather at the bus terminal outside chinese heritage centre by 6:20 or 6:50 respectively as the buses will leave school promptly at 6:30 and 7 respectively. It's on first-come-first-serve basis, so don't be late!

Buses will leave Kallang Leisure Park at 10:30pm. Please board the bus by 10:25pm. Buses will stop by at Kallang MRT (for those who don't live in hall) before returning back to NTU.

So if you're still considering, purchase your tickets quick! For those who bought the tics, thanks and have fun during the event!

ISC goes Retro again!

Get ready to mambo jumbo at our first event of the year - Retro Centro II - Disco on Ice! on 17th January 08 Thursday @ 8 pm, Super Ice World @ Kallang Leisure Park!

Exciting games will be held on the Ice Skating rink to challenge your skating skills! Retro song guessing games test your knowledge on oldies dated back to the 60s! All with fun prizes to be won!

Also, you are encouraged to come all dressed up in RETRO clothes (all those in retro clothes will receive an exclusive door gift)! We'll also be organising a Retro Beauty Pageant - the best-dressed guys and gals will stand a chance to win the ultimate title of Retro King and Retro Queen respectively!
